Meridian Agritech is actively involved in product development trial work for crop protection and biological products.
Hundreds of trials through our in-house department, research and innovation team and carefully selected contractors, are performed across South Africa annually as part of our strategy to remain an innovative and informed leader in the industry.
With our head office in Germiston, Meridian Agritech has a nationwide support structure and distribution network.
Developmental trials are conducted on an extensive basis on all commercial crops and areas in Southern Africa by our Research and Innovation team.
The Product Innovation Team, using internationally renowned software, are responsible for the compilation of trial protocols, reporting and data compilation. The collating and re-use of data is therefore coordinated and structured in order to optimise the utilisation of trial data.
The main crops that are focused on are:Pome Fruit, Stone Fruit, Citrus, Table Grapes, Wine Grapes, Potatoes, Summer Grains (Maize, Sunflowers & Soybeans) Cereals (Wheat, Barley, Oats & Canola) and Vegetables.
