The in-house laboratory on the premises is responsible for all the company’s product quality requirements and is essentially involved with every consignment with a Meridian label.

This is an important key component of the business for the following reasons:

• To test the technical material of suppliers in order to confirm the quality of raw materials proactively and to test wettable powders (WP) and granules (GR) which are imported as finished products.
• As an integral part of the product development team and process, the laboratory helps with the compilation of theoretical formulations of various products, as well as the testing of solvents and the performance of stability tests of new products.
• The laboratory is also responsible for the control of all retention samples that are kept for a minimum period of 2 years after each production run.
